Wed May 09 2007 - Chill Factore's progress is going outstandingly well at present. However, perhaps you have not yet heard of this masterpiece currently taking shape next to Manchester's Trafford Centre. It certainly has ambitious goals and is looking set to meet them quite substantially.

The centre is an entirely indoor real snow venue for skiing, snowboarding and much more. The complex plans to include a variety of extreme sports even including skateboarding for those who like to be able to mix on and off piste activities in one day!

As one of the opening events they have received a confirmed booking to hold the skiing part of the World Firefighter Games taking place in 2008. This will be the centre's first true test of holding a major tournament there and should be good to see how well it fares for the bigger events.

The company is currently seeking many new staff members and their website has full details of this if you fancy working in what will be UK's largest and longest indoor real snow slope. For those who live locally, and have memories of Rossendale when younger on school, college or university trips, this will be a blessing for all those who choose to learn before they go skiing.
